[88] On the mountain Himavant I was one clad in garments of bark-fiber;
having climbed onto the walking-meditation path (caṅkama), I sat down facing the east.
On the mountain I saw the Well-Gone One (sugata) Phussa, ever delighting in meditation (jhāna);
raising my joined palms (añjali), I made my mind (citta) confident in the radiance.
In the ninety-second aeon (kappa) from now — the deed that I did then:
I know of no bad destination (duggati); this is the fruit of the perception (saññā) of the radiance.
The four analytic insights (paṭisambhidā), and also these eight liberations (vimokkha),
and the six superknowledges (chaḷabhiññā) have been realized; the Buddha's teaching has been done.
Thus indeed did the Venerable Elder Raṃsisaññika speak these verses.
