[323] Which, on that occasion, is the aggregate of volitional formations (saṅkhārakkhandha)?
Contact (phassa), volition (cetanā), applied thought (vitakka), sustained thought (vicāra), one-pointedness of mind (cittass' ekaggatā), the faculty of energy (viriyindriya), the faculty of concentration (samādhindriya), the faculty of life (jīvitindriya), wrong thought (micchāsaṅkappa), wrong effort (micchāvāyāma), wrong concentration (micchāsamādhi), the power of energy (viriyabala), the power of concentration (samādhibala), the power of shamelessness (ahirikabala), the power of lack of moral dread (anottappabala), greed (lobha), delusion (moha), covetousness (abhijjhā), shamelessness (ahirika), lack of moral dread (anottappa), serenity (samatha), exertion (paggāha), non-distraction (avikkhepa); or whatever other dependently arisen immaterial phenomena (dhammā) there are on that occasion — excepting the aggregate of feeling (vedanākkhandha), excepting the aggregate of perception (saññākkhandha), excepting the aggregate of consciousness (viññāṇakkhandha) — this, on that occasion, is the aggregate of volitional formations. …
