[310] What on that occasion is the aggregate of volitional formations (saṅkhārakkhandha)?
Contact (phassa), volition (cetanā), applied thought (vitakka), sustained thought (vicāra), rapture (pīti), one-pointedness of mind (cittass'ekaggatā), the faculty of energy (viriyindriya), the faculty of concentration (samādhindriya), the life faculty (jīvitindriya), wrong view (micchādiṭṭhi), wrong thought (micchāsaṅkappa), wrong effort (micchāvāyāma), wrong concentration (micchāsamādhi), the power of energy (viriyabala), the power of concentration (samādhibala), the power of shamelessness (ahirikabala), the power of fearlessness of wrongdoing (anottappabala), greed (lobha), delusion (moha), covetousness (abhijjhā), wrong view, shamelessness (ahirika), fearlessness of wrongdoing (anottappa), serenity (samatha), exertion (paggāha), non-distraction (avikkhepa); or whatever other conditionally arisen (paṭiccasamuppanna) immaterial phenomena (dhammā) there are on that occasion — excepting the aggregate of feeling (vedanākkhandha), excepting the aggregate of perception (saññākkhandha), excepting the aggregate of consciousness (viññāṇakkhandha) — this on that occasion is the aggregate of volitional formations. …
