[328] Which, on that occasion, is the aggregate of volitional formations (saṅkhārakkhandha)?
Contact (phassa), volition (cetanā), thought-conception (vitakka), discursive thought (vicāra), one-pointedness of mind (cittassa ekaggatā), the energy faculty (viriyindriya), the concentration faculty (samādhindriya), the life faculty (jīvitindriya), wrong thought (micchāsaṅkappa), wrong effort (micchāvāyāma), wrong concentration (micchāsamādhi), the power of energy (viriyabala), the power of concentration (samādhibala), the power of shamelessness (ahirikabala), the power of lack of moral dread (anottappabala), hatred (dosa), delusion (moha), ill will (byāpāda), shamelessness (ahirika), lack of moral dread (anottappa), calm (samatha), exertion (paggāha), non-distraction (avikkhepa); or whatever other dependently arisen immaterial phenomena (dhammā) there are on that occasion — excepting the aggregate of feeling (vedanā), excepting the aggregate of perception (saññā), excepting the aggregate of consciousness (viññāṇa) — this, on that occasion, is the aggregate of volitional formations. …
