Contact (phassa), volition (cetanā), thought-conception (vitakka), discursive thought (vicāra), rapture (pīti), one-pointedness of mind (cittass'ekaggatā), the energy faculty (viriyindriya), the concentration faculty (samādhindriya), the life faculty (jīvitindriya), wrong thought (micchāsaṅkappa), wrong effort (micchāvāyāma), wrong concentration (micchāsamādhi), the power of energy (viriyabala), the power of concentration (samādhibala), the power of shamelessness (ahirikabala), the power of lack of moral dread (anottappabala), greed (lobha), delusion (moha), covetousness (abhijjhā), shamelessness (ahirika), lack of moral dread (anottappa), serenity (samatha), exertion (paggāha), non-distraction (avikkhepa); or whatever other dependently arisen immaterial phenomena (dhammā) there are on that occasion — excluding the aggregate of feeling (vedanākkhandha), excluding the aggregate of perception (saññākkhandha), excluding the aggregate of consciousness (viññāṇakkhandha) — this, on that occasion, is the aggregate of volitional formations. …
