Nikkhepakaṇḍa

[710] Therein, what is the taint of existence (bhavāsava)? That which, in regard to existences, is desire for existence (bhavacchanda), lust for existence (bhavarāga), delight in existence (bhavanandī), craving for existence (bhavataṇhā), affection for existence (bhavasineha), fever for existence (bhavapariḷāha), infatuation with existence (bhavamucchā), cleaving to existence (bhavajjhosāna) — this is called the taint of existence.
