Whatever phenomena are conducive to fetters by way of those [fetter-]phenomena — setting those [fetter-]phenomena aside — the remaining wholesome (kusala), unwholesome (akusala), and indeterminate (abyākata) phenomena that are subject to taints (sāsava), pertaining to the sense sphere (kāmāvacara), the form sphere (rūpāvacara), and the formless sphere (arūpāvacara): the aggregate of form (rūpakkhandha) … the aggregate of consciousness (viññāṇakkhandha) — these phenomena are conducive to fetters but not fetters.
