[226] Three truths (saccā) are with conditions (sappaccaya); the truth of cessation (nirodhasacca) is without conditions (appaccaya). Three truths are conditioned (saṅkhata); the truth of cessation is unconditioned (asaṅkhata). Three truths are invisible (anidassana); the truth of suffering (dukkhasacca) may be visible (sanidassana), may be invisible. Three truths are non-impinging (appaṭigha); the truth of suffering may be impinging (sappaṭigha), may be non-impinging. Three truths are immaterial (arūpa) [reading arūpā; the printed text has rūpā, "material" — see flag]; the truth of suffering may be material (rūpa), may be immaterial. Two truths are mundane (lokiya); two truths are supramundane (lokuttara). [The four truths] are cognizable by some [consciousness] (kenaci viññeyyā); not cognizable by some [consciousness] (kenaci na viññeyyā).
