[266] Therein, which is birth with existence as condition (bhavapaccayā jāti)? That which, for these and those beings in this and that class of beings, is birth (jāti), coming to birth, descent [into the womb], production, the manifestation of the aggregates (khandha), the obtaining of the sense bases (āyatana) — this is called birth with existence as condition.
