[271] Therein, what is grief (domanassa)? That which is mental discomfort, mental pain (dukkha); the uncomfortable, painful experience born of mind-contact (cetosamphassa); the uncomfortable, painful feeling (vedanā) born of mind-contact — this is called grief.
