[294] Therein, what is consciousness (viññāṇa) with volitional formations (saṅkhārā) as condition? That which is mind (citta), mentality (mano), mentation (mānasa), heart (hadaya), the lucid (paṇḍara), mentality (mano), the mind base (manāyatana), the mind faculty (manindriya), consciousness, the aggregate of consciousness (viññāṇakkhandha), the corresponding mind-consciousness element (tajjā manoviññāṇadhātu) — this is called consciousness with volitional formations as condition.
