[455] "Clearly comprehending" (sampajāno): Herein, what is clear comprehension (sampajañña)? That which is wisdom (paññā), understanding, … non-delusion (amoha), investigation of dhammas (dhammavicaya), right view (sammādiṭṭhi) — this is called clear comprehension. He is endowed with this clear comprehension … possessed of it. Therefore he is called "clearly comprehending."
