[70] The aggregate of volitional formations (saṅkhārakkhandha) is sevenfold: there is the wholesome; there is the unwholesome; there is the indeterminate; there is that of the sense sphere; there is that of the form sphere; there is that of the formless sphere; there is the unincluded. Thus the aggregate of volitional formations is sevenfold. In yet another way, the aggregate of volitional formations is sevenfold: there is that associated with pleasant feeling (vedanā); there is that associated with painful feeling; there is that associated with neither-painful-nor-pleasant feeling; … there is that having an internal object; there is that having an external object; there is that having both an internal and an external object; there is that of the sense sphere; there is that of the form sphere; there is that of the formless sphere; there is the unincluded. Thus the aggregate of volitional formations is sevenfold.
