[912] Therein, what is ignorance (avijjā)?
That which is lack of knowledge (ñāṇa), lack of vision, … the bar of ignorance (avijjālaṅgī), delusion (moha), the unwholesome root — this is called ignorance.
Therein, what is craving for existence (bhavataṇhā)?
That which, with regard to existences, is desire for existence, lust for existence, delight in existence, craving for existence, affection for existence, fever for existence, infatuation with existence, cleaving to existence — this is called craving for existence.
