[245] Despair (upāyāsa), the establishment of mindfulness (satipaṭṭhāna), and right exertion (sammappadhāna) are associated with three aggregates (khandha), one sense base (āyatana), and one element (dhātu); they are associated with some [dhammas] of one aggregate, one sense base, and one element. From how many are they dissociated? They are dissociated from one aggregate, ten sense bases, and sixteen elements; they are dissociated from some [dhammas] of one sense base and one element.
