[265] Phenomena (dhammā) to be abandoned by seeing (dassanena pahātabbā), phenomena to be abandoned by development (bhāvanāya pahātabbā), phenomena with roots to be abandoned by seeing (dassanena pahātabbahetukā), phenomena with roots to be abandoned by development (bhāvanāya pahātabbahetukā), phenomena leading to accumulation (ācayagāmino), phenomena leading to dispersal (apacayagāmino), phenomena of trainees (sekkhā), phenomena of non-trainees (asekkhā), exalted phenomena (mahaggatā) — are they associated (sampayuttā)? There are none. From how many are they dissociated (vippayuttā)? They are dissociated from one aggregate (khandha), from ten sense bases (āyatana), and from sixteen elements (dhātu); and they are dissociated from some [phenomena] of one sense base and one element.
