[274] Phenomena with roots (sahetukā dhammā), phenomena associated with roots (hetusampayuttā dhammā): are they associated [with how many aggregates, sense bases, and elements]? There are none. From how many are they dissociated? They are dissociated from one aggregate (khandha), from ten sense bases (āyatana), and from sixteen elements (dhātu); they are dissociated from some [portion] of one sense base and one element.
