[1036] [S.] "For one who has entered upon the attainment (samāpatti) of the earth-kasiṇa (paṭhavīkasiṇa), is there knowledge (ñāṇa) with regard to what is distorted (viparīta)?" [P.] "Yes." [S.] "Is it unwholesome (akusala)?" [P.] "It should not be said so." … [S.] "Is it not wholesome (kusala)?" [P.] "Yes." [S.] "If it is wholesome, then indeed, good sir, it should not be said: 'For one who has entered upon the attainment of the earth-kasiṇa, there is knowledge with regard to what is distorted.'"
