[1037] S. Is [the notion] "permanent" with regard to what is impermanent a perversion (vipariyesa), and is that unwholesome (akusala)?

S. For one who has entered upon the earth-kasiṇa attainment (paṭhavīkasiṇa-samāpatti), [there is] knowledge (ñāṇa) with regard to what is perverted (viparīta)—and is that unwholesome?
P. It should not be said thus. …
S. [The notion] "pleasant" with regard to what is suffering (dukkha) … [the notion] "self" with regard to what is non-self … is [the notion] "beautiful" with regard to what is foul a perversion, and is that unwholesome?
