[107] [Sakavādin:] "In dependence on the eye element (cakkhu-dhātu), in dependence on the ear element (sota-dhātu), … in dependence on the mind-object element (dhamma-dhātu), is there the designation (paññatti) of the person (puggala)?" [Paravādin:] "Yes." [Sakavādin:] "In dependence on the eighteen elements (dhātu), is there the designation of eighteen persons?" [Paravādin:] "It should not be said thus. …"
