[1103] [Paravādin:] Should it not be said that the attainment of cessation (nirodhasamāpatti) is unconditioned (asaṅkhata)? [Sakavādin:] Yes. [Paravādin:] Is it conditioned (saṅkhata)? [Sakavādin:] It should not be said thus. … [Paravādin:] If so, then the attainment of cessation is unconditioned.
