[1084] [Sakavādin:] Is dependent origination (paṭiccasamuppāda) unconditioned (asaṅkhata)? [Paravādin:] Yes. [S.:] Is it Nibbāna — the shelter (tāṇa), the retreat (leṇa), the refuge (saraṇa), the final resort (parāyana), the imperishable (accuta), the deathless (amata)? [P.:] It should not be said thus. … [S.:] Is dependent origination unconditioned, and Nibbāna unconditioned? [P.:] Yes. [S.:] Are there two unconditioned things?
