There is sense-sphere existence (kāmabhava); sense-sphere existence is an existence (bhava), a destination (gati), an abode of beings (sattāvāsa), saṃsāra, a mode of generation (yoni), a station of consciousness (viññāṇaṭṭhiti), an acquisition of individuality (attabhāvapaṭilābha)? P. Yes. S. There is an intermediate existence (antarābhava); the intermediate existence is an existence, a destination, an abode of beings, saṃsāra, a mode of generation, a station of consciousness, an acquisition of individuality? P. It should not be said so. … S. There is kamma leading to sense-sphere existence? P. Yes. S. There is kamma leading to the intermediate existence? P. It should not be said so. … S.
