[1321] [Sakavādī:] Does form (rūpa) have an object (sārammaṇa)?
[Paravādī:] Yes.
[S.:] Is there, for that form, adverting (āvajjanā), ideation (ābhoga), co-ordinated application (samannāhāra), attention (manasikāra), volition (cetanā), aspiration (patthanā), resolve (paṇidhi)?
[P.:] It should not be said thus. …
[S.:] Is it not that, for that form, there is no adverting, no ideation, … no resolve?
[P.:] Yes.
[S.:] If, for that form, there is no adverting, no ideation, … no resolve, then indeed you should not say that form has an object.
