[1354] [Sakavādī:] "Is all mind (citta) attendant upon thought (vitakka)?" [Paravādī:] "Yes." [Sakavādī:] "Is there not concentration (samādhi) that is without thought, without examination (vicāra)?" [Paravādī:] "Yes." [Sakavādī:] "If there is concentration that is without thought, without examination, then indeed, good sir, it should not be said: 'All mind is attendant upon thought.'"
