[1369] [S.] "Is one endowed (samannāgata) with the future (anāgata)?" [P.] "Yes." [S.] "But is not the future unborn, unbecome, not come into being, unproduced, not brought forth, unmanifested?" [P.] "Yes." [S.] "If the future is unborn, unbecome, not come into being, unproduced, not brought forth, unmanifested, then truly, sir, it should not be said that 'one is endowed with the future.'"
