[1449] Sakavādī: When non-knowledge (aññāṇa) has departed, while a mind (citta) dissociated from knowledge (ñāṇa) is occurring, should it not be said that he is "one who has knowledge" (ñāṇī)?

S.: When lust (rāga) has departed, should it not be said that he is "one free from lust" (vītarāga)?
P.: It should not be said thus. …
S.: When non-knowledge has departed, while a mind dissociated from knowledge is occurring, should it not be said that he is "one who has knowledge"?

S.: When hatred (dosa) has departed … when delusion (moha) has departed … when defilement (kilesa) has departed, should it not be said that he is "one without defilements" (nikkilesa)?
