[1507] [Sakavādin:] For a person (puggala) accomplished in view (diṭṭhisampanna), is the bad destination (duggati) abandoned? [Paravādin:] Yes. [Sak.:] Could a person accomplished in view be attached (rajjeyya) to a form belonging to the states of loss (āpāyika)? [Par.:] Yes. [Sak.:] If a person accomplished in view could be attached to a form belonging to the states of loss, then indeed, good sir, it should not be said that "for a person accomplished in view the bad destination is abandoned."
