[1518] Paravādin: Could a person (puggala) who has instigated a deed of immediate retribution (anantarāpayutta) enter the fixed course of rightness (sammatta-niyāma)?
Sakavādin: Yes.
P.: Could he enter both the fixed course of wrongness (micchatta-niyāma) and the fixed course of rightness?
S.: It should not be said thus. …
P.: Could a person who has instigated a deed of immediate retribution enter the fixed course of rightness?
S.: Yes.
P.: Was not that deed (kamma) instigated, worry (kukkucca) occasioned, and remorse (vippaṭisāra) engendered?
S.: Yes.
P.: If that deed was instigated, worry occasioned, and remorse engendered, then indeed it must not be said: "A person who has instigated a deed of immediate retribution could enter the fixed course of rightness."
