S. Does one who has entered an attainment see form (rūpa) with the eye … with the ear … with the nose … with the tongue … touch a tangible object (phoṭṭhabba) with the body?

S. Does one who has entered an attainment hear sound?
P. Yes.
S. Is one who has entered an attainment endowed with ear-consciousness (sotaviññāṇa)?
P. It should not be said thus. …
S. Does not concentration (samādhi) belong to one who is endowed with mind-consciousness (manoviññāṇa)?
P. Yes.
S. If concentration belongs to one who is endowed with mind-consciousness, then indeed, good sir, it should not be said that one who has entered an attainment hears sound.
