[1787] P. (Paravādin): Should it not be said: "The suchness (tathatā) of all phenomena (dhammā) is unconditioned (asaṅkhata)"? S. (Sakavādin): Yes. P. Is the suchness of all phenomena form (rūpa), feeling (vedanā), perception (saññā), volitional formations (saṅkhārā), consciousness (viññāṇa)? S. It should not be said thus. … P.
