[248] "Does the Arahant (arahā) fall away from Arahantship (arahatta)?"
"Yes."
"Is there, for one who has cut off, something to be cut off?"
"It should not be said thus."
"Is there, for one who has cut off, something to be cut off?"
"Yes."
"Was it not said by the Blessed One:
'One free of craving (taṇhā), without grasping,
for whom no task exists—
for one who has cut off there is nothing to be cut off;
the flood (ogha) and the snare are uprooted'—
is there indeed such a discourse (suttanta)?"
"Yes."
"Then indeed it should not be said: 'There is, for one who has cut off, something to be cut off.'"
