[499] [Sakavādin:] "Is there non-knowledge (aññāṇa) on the part of a worldling (puthujjana), and is there on his part non-knowledge regarding the Teacher (satthā), non-knowledge regarding the Dhamma, non-knowledge regarding the Saṅgha, … non-knowledge regarding phenomena (dhammā) dependently arisen (paṭiccasamuppanna) through specific conditionality (idappaccayatā)?" [Paravādin:] "Yes." [Sakavādin:] "Is there non-knowledge on the part of an arahant (arahā), and is there on his part non-knowledge regarding the Teacher, non-knowledge regarding the Dhamma, non-knowledge regarding the Saṅgha, … non-knowledge regarding phenomena dependently arisen through specific conditionality?" [Paravādin:] "It should not be said thus." …
