[550] S. There is guidance by another (paravitāraṇā) for the Arahant, and yet he is not one to be led by another (paraneyya), not one who goes by trust in another (parapattiya), not one dependent on another (parapaccaya), not one whose being is bound up with another (parapaṭibaddhabhū); he knows, he sees, he is undeluded, clearly comprehending (sampajāno)? P. Yes. S. There is guidance by another for the worldling (puthujjana), and yet he is not one to be led by another, not one who goes by trust in another, not one dependent on another, not one whose being is bound up with another; he knows, he sees, he is undeluded, clearly comprehending?
