[573] P. Should it not be said: "There is guidance by others (paravitāraṇā) for the Arahant"?
S. Yes.
P. But might not others inform the Arahant of the name and clan of women and men? Might not others inform him of what is the way and what is not the way? Might not others inform him of the names of grasses, wood, and great forest trees?
S. Yes.
P. If others might inform the Arahant of the name and clan of women and men, if others might inform him of what is the way and what is not the way, if others might inform him of the names of grasses, wood, and great forest trees, then indeed, good sir, you should say: "There is guidance by others for the Arahant."
