[572] S.: Is there guidance by others (paravitāraṇā) for the Arahant?
P.: Yes.
S.: But was it not said by the Blessed One:
"I shall not go to set free
anyone in the world who has doubts, Dhotaka;
but you, directly knowing the supreme Dhamma,
shall thus cross over this flood (ogha)"—
is there indeed such a discourse (suttanta)?
P.: Yes.
S.: In that case, it should not be said: "There is guidance by others for the Arahant."
