Abhidhammapiṭaka · Kathāvatthu · Vol. 37 · Section 571

[571] S. Is there guidance by others (paravitāraṇā) for an Arahant? P. Yes. S. But was it not said by the Blessed One: "Bhikkhus, when there arises for the noble disciple (ariyasāvaka) the dust-free, stainless eye of Dhamma (dhammacakkhu) — 'Whatever is subject to origination (samudayadhamma), all that is subject to cessation (nirodhadhamma)' — together with the arising of vision, bhikkhus, three fetters (saṃyojana) are abandoned for the noble disciple: personality view (sakkāyadiṭṭhi), doubt (vicikicchā), and adherence to rules and rituals (sīlabbataparāmāsa)"? Is there indeed such a discourse (suttanta)? P. Yes. S. In that case, it should not be said that there is guidance by others for an Arahant.
