[669] S. Is realization (abhisamaya) gradual? P. Yes. S. Was it not said by the Blessed One: "Together with his very attainment of seeing (dassanasampadā) … and he is incapable of committing the six grave transgressions (abhiṭṭhāna)" — does such a discourse (suttanta) truly exist? P. Yes. S. If that is so, then it should not be said that realization is gradual.
