[683] [Sakavādin:] "Is it not the case that a supramundane phenomenon (lokuttara dhamma) is not a basis for delusion (moha), not productive of unknowing, not productive of blindness, conducive to the growth of wisdom (paññā), not partaking of vexation, and leading on to Nibbāna?"
[Paravādin:] "Yes."
[Sakavādin:] "If a supramundane phenomenon is not a basis for delusion, not productive of unknowing, not productive of blindness, conducive to the growth of wisdom, not partaking of vexation, and leading on to Nibbāna, then indeed, good sir, you should not say: 'The speech (vohāra) of the Buddha, the Blessed One, is supramundane.'"
