[1574] When one passes away from the form element (rūpadhātu) and is reborn in the form element, for some, seven latent tendencies (anusaya) lie latent; for some, five latent tendencies lie latent; for some, three latent tendencies lie latent; there are no latent tendencies that are broken (bhaṅga).
When one passes away from the form element and is reborn in the sensual element (kāmadhātu), only seven latent tendencies lie latent; there are no latent tendencies that are broken.
When one passes away from the form element and is reborn in the formless element (arūpadhātu), for some, seven latent tendencies lie latent; for some, five latent tendencies lie latent; for some, three latent tendencies lie latent; there are no latent tendencies that are broken.
