[199] For whomever, in whatever place, the feeling aggregate (vedanākkhandha) does not cease, has the perception aggregate (saññākkhandha) not ceased for that one, in that place?
For those arising in the four-constituent (catuvokāra) and the five-constituent (pañcavokāra) [planes], the feeling aggregate does not cease for them there, yet it is not the case that the perception aggregate has not ceased for them there. For those arising in the Pure Abodes (Suddhāvāsa) and for non-percipient beings (asaññasattā), the feeling aggregate does not cease for them there and the perception aggregate has not ceased.
Or else, for whomever, in whatever place, the perception aggregate has not ceased, does the feeling aggregate not cease for that one, in that place?
For those attaining final Nibbāna in the Pure Abodes, the perception aggregate has not ceased for them there, yet it is not the case that the feeling aggregate does not cease for them there. For those arising in the Pure Abodes and for non-percipient beings, the perception aggregate has not ceased for them there and the feeling aggregate does not cease.
