[272] For whomever in whatever place the aggregate of feeling (vedanākkhandha) did not arise, will the aggregate of perception (saññākkhandha) not cease for that one in that place?
For those being reborn into the Pure Abodes (Suddhāvāsa), the aggregate of feeling did not arise for them in that place, but it is not the case that the aggregate of perception will not cease for them in that place. For those attaining final Nibbāna (parinibbanta) in the Pure Abodes and for non-percipient beings (asaññasattā), the aggregate of feeling did not arise for them in that place and the aggregate of perception will not cease.
Or, for whomever in whatever place the aggregate of perception will not cease, did the aggregate of feeling not arise for that one in that place?
For those attaining final Nibbāna, the aggregate of perception will not cease for them in that place, but it is not the case that the aggregate of feeling did not arise for them in that place. For those attaining final Nibbāna in the Pure Abodes and for non-percipient beings, the aggregate of perception will not cease for them in that place and the aggregate of feeling did not arise.
