Suddhdhātumūlacakkavāra

Abhidhammapiṭaka · Yamaka (1) · Vol. 38 · Section 815

[815] For whomever the eye element (cakkhu-dhātu) arises, does the dhamma element (dhamma-dhātu) arise for that one? Yes (āmantā). Or rather, for whomever the dhamma element arises, does the eye element arise for that one? For those without the eye who are taking rebirth, the dhamma element arises for them, but the eye element does not arise for them; for those with the eye who are taking rebirth, for them both the dhamma element arises and the eye element arises. As the Pairs on Sense Bases (Āyatanayamaka) has been analyzed, so too should the Pairs on Elements (Dhātuyamaka) be analyzed; it should be made the same.
