[992] For whom the truth of suffering (dukkhasacca) will arise, will the truth of the path (maggasacca) cease for him?
At the moment of dissolution of the supreme path (aggamagga), for Arahants, and for those ordinary persons (puthujjana) who will not obtain the path: for them the truth of suffering will arise, but the truth of the path will not cease for them. At the moment of arising of the supreme path, for those who will obtain the supreme path in immediate succession to [that] mind (citta), and for those others who will obtain the path: for them both the truth of suffering will arise and the truth of the path will cease.
Or rather, for whom the truth of the path … ? Yes.
