[1231] For whomever the nose faculty (ghānindriya) arose, will the femininity faculty (itthindriya) arise for that one?
For those in their final existence (pacchimabhavika), for those who, having been reborn in the form sphere (rūpāvacara) or the formless sphere (arūpāvacara), will attain final Nibbāna (parinibbāna), and for those males (purisa) who, having passed through some number of existences (bhava) in that very state, will attain final Nibbāna — for them the nose faculty arose, but the femininity faculty will not arise for them. For the others, the nose faculty arose and the femininity faculty will arise.
Or rather, for whomever the femininity faculty will arise, did the nose faculty arise for that one?
