[1273] For whomever, wherever, the femininity faculty (itthindriya) arose, will the masculinity faculty (purisindriya) arise for that one there?
For those in their final existence in the sense sphere (kāmāvacara), and those women who, having manifested some number of existences in that very state, will attain final Nibbāna: for them the femininity faculty arose there, but the masculinity faculty will not arise for them there. For the other sense-sphere beings: for them both the femininity faculty arose there and the masculinity faculty will arise there.
Or rather, for whomever, wherever, the masculinity faculty will arise, did the femininity faculty arise for that one there?
Yes (āmantā).
