[1260] For whomever, wherever, the eye faculty (cakkhundriya) arose, will the masculinity faculty (purisindriya) arise for that one there?
For those in the sense sphere (kāmāvacara) who are in their final existence (pacchimabhavika), for beings of the form sphere (rūpāvacara), and for those women who, having manifested some number of existences (bhava) in that very same state (bhāva), will attain final Nibbāna: for them the eye faculty arose there, but the masculinity faculty will not arise for them there. For the other beings of the sense sphere: for them there both the eye faculty arose and the masculinity faculty will arise.
Or else, for whomever, wherever, the masculinity faculty will arise, did the eye faculty arise for that one there?
Yes (āmantā).
