Cakkhundarīya

Abhidhammapiṭaka · Yamaka (2) · Vol. 39 · Section 756

[756] For whomever, wherever, the eye-faculty (cakkhundriya) arose, did the life-faculty (jīvitindriya) arise for that one there? Yes. Or rather, for whomever, wherever, the life-faculty arose, did the eye-faculty arise for that one there? For non-percipient beings (asaññasattā) and formless beings (arūpā), the life-faculty arose for them there, but the eye-faculty did not arise for them there; for five-constituent beings (pañcavokārā), for them there both the life-faculty arose and the eye-faculty arose.
