[773] For whomever and wherever the life faculty (jīvitindriya) arose, did the faith faculty (saddhindriya) … the wisdom faculty (paññindriya) arise for that one there?
For the non-percipient beings (asaññasattā), the life faculty arose for them there, but the wisdom faculty did not arise for them there. For beings with four aggregates (catuvokāra) and beings with five aggregates (pañcavokāra), both the life faculty arose for them there and the wisdom faculty arose.
Or, for whomever and wherever the wisdom faculty arose, did the life faculty arise for that one there?
Yes (āmantā).
