[772] For whomever, wherever, the life faculty (jīvitindriya) has arisen, has the equanimity faculty (upekkhindriya) arisen for that one there?
For the non-percipient beings (asaññasattā), the life faculty has arisen for them there, but the equanimity faculty has not arisen for them there. For the four-constituent beings (catuvokāra) and the five-constituent beings (pañcavokāra), for them there both the life faculty has arisen and the equanimity faculty has arisen.
Or, for whomever, wherever, the equanimity faculty has arisen, has the life faculty arisen for that one there?
Yes (āmantā).
